Ski Vacations At The Frost Fire Mountain
Frost Fire Mountain is a dream come true for avid skiers. Situated in North Dakota near Walhalla, the resort is equipped with three lifts that include two chair lifts and a surface lift. It is spread over a sprawling 25 acres, and has ten trails for beginners, intermediates and experts. The topmost elevation is 1346 feet, with a sheer vertical drop of 345 feet.
Even though this is not a large ski resort, it is a lot of fun, and is perfect for family ski vacations. It is simply the most perfect place for kids to learn how to ski. Ski as well as snowboard lessons are available at reasonable rates. There is a rental shop and ski
maintenance area on the grounds, and a variety of motel accommodations in the area to choose from. There is also separate terrain park for snowboarders.
There are a large variety of restaurants to choose from, and you can visit the areas antique shops when you aren’t enjoying on the slopes. There are also a number of historical sites to visit in this area, since Walhalla is the second oldest town in the state of North Dakota.
